PMD: Rescue Team Final Vision part 1: Into the Sky

During my training, I got a TM for me to learn Thunderbolt so that I could have a move that would cover all Pokemon that would surround me.  I learned Discharge too which would cover an entire room should the need arise.  This is great for Monster Houses.  Rosie used the Facade TM & even learned Double Edge during training!  This meant she'd deal heavy damage & take some recoil damage too.  That night, I started to dream again, but this one was different.

"What's going on...?"  I asked myself.

After some time has passed, a picture was revealed to me: I was in some kind of dungeon strapped to a table.  I then started to get a bit scared as I looked around.  Then, I heard footsteps coming into the room I was trapped in.

"Kekekeh!  How do you like nightmare?"  Gengar whispered.  "Horrible, isn't it?  ...But...  But...  Who would've thought you were a child of an all powerful being...?  I didn't see that coming.  Not that it matters though...  Since I have the power to manipulate dreams...  I can make it so your dream will end your life in the real world too.  Genius!"

Just then, he heard something.  He looked to see a light.

"What's that?"  He asked.

He saw that it was coming towards me!

"Oh, great.  It's coming closer."  He rushed out, annoyed that he might've almost succeeded.

In the dream, I was screaming in fear & crying out for my mom as the monster was about to mutilate me with what appeared to be a knife!  But before he could even touch me, everything just vanished.  I was confused at this.  But a HUGE wave of relief came to me as I saw Gardevoir again.

"GARDEVOIR!!"  I cried, hugging her.  "You saved me!!"

"I did."  Said Gardevoir.  "Are you OK?"

"...Yes."  I said.  "I am now."

"So anyway, the time has come for me to tell you your role."  Said Gardevoir.  "Like I said, everyone has a role in life.  And yours...  Seems to be to save this world."

"...What?"  I said.  "I mean, yeah, I saved alot of Pokemon as a rescue team with Rosie, but..."

"That's the thing."  Said Gardevoir.  "So we sought a hero.  But we couldn't find one.  We were starting to lose hope.  But then you hatched.  Donnie...  You were born with a power that is beyond comprehension.  Your green cheeks is the doing of an entity that once lived in this world."

"Wait...  Me?  Great power?!  That's too big of a stretch!  I'm just a normal Pikachu!"  I said.  "My cheeks are just a cosmetic difference!"

"You would've said that if your daddy told you."  She giggled.  "You may say you're not the strongest Pikachu in the world.  But we weren't looking for what was on the outside.  We were looking for what was on the inside.  In other words...  Courage."

"Courage?  No no, my sisters have WAY more courage than me."  I said.

"I'm sure they do.  But that doesn't mean that you don't."  Said Gardevoir.  "But to see if you were a worthy hero...  We decided to put you to the test.  And if you were worthy...  You could save this world.  You can fulfill your role.  You've proven your worth plenty of times.  Your courage has been proven.  We must ask you to save this world.  After that...  A certain someone will be waiting for you."

"Wait...  Someone's...  Waiting for me to destroy the meteor?"  I said.

"Yes.  She's looking for you guys as we speak."  Said Gardevoir.  "It's someone you & Rosie have been searching for over the last month."

"Wait...  Mom?!"  I exclaimed, suddenly realizing what she was talking about.

"Yes."  Said Gardevoir.  "She heard about your heroic exploits & is currently going to Pokemon Square.  She's very far away though.  I doubt she'll be there to greet you before you go to destroy the meteor."

"I'll...  Get to see mom again?!"  I asked eagerly.

"Yes.  She's been yearning to see you & your sisters for far too long now."  Said Gardevoir.  "She's getting desperate.  I bet hearing about your accomplishments will make her very proud.  There are farewells, but there are also encounters."

"I once was a part of a team known as Team Charm."  Said Gardevoir.  "I cherished our friendship.  So did they.  I hope that one day I get to see them again.  But as is...  I'm still upset about them losing me.  But I hope that we get to meet again 1 day..."

Just then, a flash of light appeared.

"ACK!  Wh-What...?!"  I cried.

"...It appears someone was looking into your dreams."  Said Gardevoir.  "Even trying to give you a nightmare.  But he's gone now.  ...But now...  I feel overwhelming joy in the dream.  Those Pokemon...  I hear tears of joy as they embrace their mother once again.  ...It's morning soon.  Au revoir."

The next morning, I had my breakfast & met up with Rosie outside.

"Well...  This is it.  We're going to the sky."  I said.

Rosie nodded as we went to the Hill of the Ancients.  There, Alakazam & Xatu awaited.

"Ah.  So you've arrived."  Said Alakazam.

We nodded.  Just then, we saw Team Rose following us.

"Wait!  We want to see you off!"  Said Kayla.

"Yeah.  I'd be doing my brother & sister a disservice if I didn't wish them luck!"  Said Sarah.

Just then, Xatu spread his wings & cawed loudly as a green energy flowed above him.

"Looks like the Teleport Gem's almost ready."  Said Alakazam.

Xatu cawed again, giving some more of his energy into the gem.

".....It has been made."  Said Xatu.

He turned to us & gave us the teleport gem.

"This will take you to the Sky Tower."  Said Xatu.  "Please accept."

I did.

"This gem is made from psychic powers."  Said Xatu.  "Me, Alakazam and..."

Just then, he noticed the 3rd one was gone.

"...I could've sworn a Ghost type Pokemon was here.  He helped us too."  Said Xatu.  "...It seems it's gone now."

"Wait...  Is it...?"  I began to ask.

Just then, Alakazam laughed.

"Let it be.  It must be bashful!"  He said.  "Now then...  I must ask...  Will you still go despite the danger?"

"Yes!"  Me & Rosie responded.

"I'm willing to die for this world!"  I exclaimed.

In the back of my mind, I remembered what Gardevoir said.  That our mom is looking for us.  Hopefully she's here by the end of this adventure.

"Let's get this done!"  Said Rosie.

"Let's do this!"  I exclaimed, holding up the teleport gem as it started glowing.

"We're counting on you 2!"  Said Alakazam.

"Make us proud!"  Said Sarah.

"We believe in you!"  Cheered Kayla.

"You can do it!"  Melissa assured.

Their words stirred something inside of us as a big circle was formed by the gem.

"NOW GO!"  Xatu cawed as we were teleported up to Sky Tower.

The gem teleported us high into the clouds.  But we were standing on nothing & we fell onto a cloudy platform.

"Ow...!"  Cried Rosie.

"M-My leg...!"  I cried.  "...Did...  Did we make it?"

"I...  Think so."  Said Rosie as she got up.

Suddenly, she gasped.

"Whoa!  We're on clouds!"  She exclaimed.

"Wait-  What?"  I said.

I looked at the edge of the clouds.  I wish I didn't.  Because I saw how high we were.  It looked like we'd make a huge hole in the ground if we fell out of here.  My heart was racing.  Rosie saw this & tried to comfort me to the best of her abilities.  She started by pulling me away from the edge & pointing upwards.

"Look up there!"  She said.

I looked & my jaw dropped at the sight of a HUGE tower!

"Is this...  Sky Tower?!"  I exclaimed.  "It's huge!!"

"Rayquaza must be at the top."  Said Rosie.  "Let's steel ourselves & make our way upwards!!"
