PMD: Rescue Team Epilogue

It's been a few weeks after the day Gengar became human again & truly saved Gardevoir & nothing eventful happened.  It was just a normal life for us.

One day, Sarah came up to me & said "Hey, Donnie.  We're going shopping.  Wanna come with?"

I thought about it before saying "Nah.  I just wanna relax right now."  I said.  "I've been through alot lately & I need some rest."

Sarah smiled & said "That's understandable.  We'll see you later then."

With that, Sarah, Rosie & Sparkles went shopping together.  Kind of a girl's day out thing.  I honestly felt like they deserved some time together.  And that was part of the reason why I declined.  But what I didn't know was that they were shopping for my birthday which was only a few days away now.  I was kind of bored & on a whim, I decided to look & see if anything from our old home as well as Alakazam's was brought over her.  And when I checked in the closet in my room, I saw that I was right!  A rush of nostalgia flooded my mind as I looked at the stuff.  Our GameCube, complete with the games we had for it, our PS2, GBAs & even that old DVD player that me & my sisters watched movies on!  And of course, DVDs containing shows like MLP:FiM, Disney movies like The Lion King, Hunchback of Notre Dame, the Aladin trilogy, Bambi, Emperor's New Groove, Treasure Planet, etc.  As well as all seasons of 1 of my most favorite animated sitcoms Fredbear & Friends.  The people who packed the stuff must've been smart since the Fredbear & Friends plushies I collected were with the DVDs!  I remember LOVING that show.  I pretty much had all 3 seasons & the movie memorized.  I'd sometimes use the plushies to act out the episodes & movie.  ...Maybe if I find an animator, I can make a stop motion series based on Fredbear & Friends.  But for now, wanting some nostalgia, I set up the DVD player & put in Fredbear & Friends, got out my plushies & began watching my childhood favorite show.  Meanwhile, Sarah, Rosie & Sparkles were at the Pokemon Square Mall & were looking for things for my birthday.  They already found a few things.  A DS with Sonic Rush, Legendary Starfy as well as Wii games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl & Mario Party 8.  As they were shopping, they were shocked to see Gardevoir shopping too!

"Oh!  Hello, you 3!"  Said Gardevoir.  "Where's Donnie?"

"He's back at home."  Replied Sparkles.  "He's resting after all that adventuring he's done lately."

"Ah.  Can't say I blame him."  Gardevoir giggled.  "I think he deserves a break anyway.  Where do you guys plan to go now?"

"Well...  There's a pet store nearby that has trained service dogs."  Said Sparkles.  "I heard there are service dogs for those with autism, so I decided, why not give it a try?"

"Oh!  That's a great idea!"  Gardevoir smiled.  "Mind if I come with?"

"Of course!"  Sparkles smiled as she gestured in her direction as she & her daughters went to the pet store.

As they did, they looked at the many cute dog Pokemon that were at the shelter.  From the fierce yet kind Houndours to the sweet little yampers.  But 1 stood out from the rest in Gardevoir's eyes: A beautiful Growlithe with a cute red collar & beautiful brown eyes.  When she looked at the collar, she saw that the Growlithe was named Reba.  She reached in & picked up the dog.

"Hey Sparkles!  Can I make a suggestion?"  She asked.

Sparkles, who was petting a Yamper heard Gardevoir & looked at her.

"What is it?"  She asked.

She showed the smiling Growlithe to Sparkles & right away, Sparkles looked to see where the 2 girls were.

"Sarah!  Rosie!  Gardevoir has a cute one!"  Said Sparkles.

This got their attention as they saw who Gardevoir had in her arms.  Both of their eyes lit up.

"Yes!  That's perfect!!"  Sarah cheered.

"Oh, OH, Donnie's going to LOVE her!"  Cooed Rosie.

"Thank you so much for helping, Gardevoir!"  Cheered Sparkles.

"Anytime."  Said Gardevoir as Sparkles took the Growlithe & went up to the checkout, bought her & was given a Poke Ball to hold her in until my birthday, a leash & a red vest that reads "DO NOT PET" on both sides.

Meanwhile, I had just finished watching the last episode of the 3rd season.  It was as hilarious as I remembered it.  I was enjoying myself all the way through.  When I was finished, I put turned the player & TV off, out the DVD back in its case, then, I decided to take a little nap as I was very tired at this point.  A little while later, Sparkles Sarah, Rosie & Gardevoir came into the house after their long trip.

"Donnie, we're home~"  Sarah cooed in her usual singsong voice.

But no response.

"...Donnie?"  She said.

This confused her (and even worried her a little bit), so she went to my room to see what I was doing.  But when she saw that I was just in bed, she simply smiled.  She must've figured that I was tired out form all that rescue team stuff, so she decided to just give me a kiss on the cheek.  She even lightly wiggled 2 fingers on my tummy, making me giggle a bit, but it didn't wake me up.

"Still cute & giggly even when asleep..."  She cooed as she left the room to mingle with the others.

A few days have passed & now it's May 24th; my birthday!  I turn 8 now!  I immediately downstairs to meet up the others.

"Hi, everyone!"  I said happily.

"Well, looks like someone's ready for his birthday~"  Sarah smiled.

"You bet I am!"  I said eagerly.

"And guess who's here to celebrate with you~"  Cooed Gardevoir who had just came into the room.

"Gardevoir!"  I exclaimed happily.

"And not just them~"  Said Sparkles as Team ACT had just came inside, smiling.

"Happy birthday, Donnie!"  Alakazam smiled.

"Of course we couldn't miss your big day!"  Said Charizard.

"Especially not after what you did for us!"  Tyranitar added.

I wasn't the biggest fan of huge birthday parties, but this was the best one ever!  And when it came time for my presents, I was happy with what I got, but the Growlithe had me the most overjoyed.  When I 1st met her, Sparkles gave me a Poke Ball, similar to what Dominic used for his Salamence.  And when I opened it, what came out was the Growlithe that Gardevoir helped Sparkles pick out!

"Doggy!  I squealed happily, hugging her in my arms.

Then, the Growlithe playfully pulled her head out of my arms since I was hugging around that area as she started to sniff my face & torso.  The latter was what got me laughing again.

"Hahahaha!  She tickles!"  I laughed.

This seemed to please the Growlithe as she started licking my face, causing me to fall over, still laughing & giving her a chance to pin me down as she licked me.  The sight was very adorable to watch.  So much so that Sarah brought her phone out & took a picture of this moment.  It took some time, but I soon managed to get the Growlithe off me & I started petting her.  She liked that alot as her tail started wagging & she tipped over onto her side, paw on my hand that's petting her.

"By the way, the dog's name is Reba."  Said Rosie.  "She's meant to be a service dog.  She's trained to divert outbursts.  So if you start to get mad or something, Reba will try to get your attention."

"And she came with a leash & vest for her."  Said Sparkles as she got them out for me.  "The vest is used when she's in a public place where pets aren't allowed to be normally.  And the leash is to make sure that she stays with you at all times."

"In fact..."  Sarah said as she put the belt part of the leash around her waist.  "The leash acts as a tether so that Reba stays tether directly to you!"

All of this made me so happy!  I was very pleased with the other gifts, but my own pet?  That's the best thing of all time!

"Thank you all!!"  I exclaimed, hugging my mother & sisters.

I was aware Team ACT didn't get anything for me, but I didn't care; the Growlithe was my new friend & that's all I truly cared about.  They all hugged back.

"Happy birthday, Donnie~"  Sarah smiled.

"You know, I feel like something's missing."  Said Rosie.  "I think I know what it's time for~"

"An, I think I know what you mean."  Sarah grinned as she slowly started wiggling a finger in my side.  "I think it's time for this little one's birthday tickles!"

When she said that, she made it more intense by playfully spidering my tummy, causing me to fall over once again as my cute laughter filled the air again.

"Yahahahahahahay!"  I squealed as my sister tickled me.

Rosie, Sparkles & Reba joined in on the tickles too, Rosie tickling my tummy with her tail, occasionally getting my belly button too, making circles around it & along the walls & of course, the dead center of it while Reba was licking my tummy, making it ripple with every lick.  Sparkles was giving me her motherly tummy kisses, trying not to get in Sarah's way, but making sure to leave no part of my tummy un kissed.  My tummy arched up from the tickles as my squealing & laughing intensified, even my tail started wagging too.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!  SO TICKLYEHEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHA!"  I cried.

"Aww, who's the cute baby brother with the ticklish widdle tummy wummy~?"  Cooed Sarah.

"MEEHEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHA!"  I replied.

"Yes you are, oh yes you are~"  Cooed Sarah as she started blowing on my tummy, making me laugh even harder as my tummy rippled like water.

It was a very cute moment to watch.  Gardevoir made sure to remember this by having a camera record this event.  And soon enough, she couldn't help herself as she decided to join in on my tickle torture.  She used her psychic powers to not only restrain my limbs, making them immobile, but she also made her fingers feel like little paint brushes as she skittered them across my sides, ribs & armpits, going up & down between them.  My reaction was adorable; bubbly laughter filled the room as the tickling just wouldn't stop.  But of course, I was loving every second of it.

"NYAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!  GAHAHAHAHAHAHARDEVOIAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAR!!"  I pleaded.

"Yeees~?"  Cooed Gardevoir as she kept up her tickles.

I couldn't form words easily from the tickles, but she must've thought that I was playfully going to beg for this to stop when in reality, I wouldn't want that to happen.  Team ACT was enjoying this sight & was glad to see me so happy.

"That kid...  To think that's the same one who saved us all from that meteor!"  Charizard laughed.

"Yeah!  You wouldn't think he'd be so vulnerable & ticklish!"  Said Tyranitar.

Alakazam didn't respond as he felt like joining in on the fun.  So he used his psyichic powers to conjure up some electric toothbrushes made from psychic matter to tickle my paws, focusing primarily on my soles, but also spreading out my toes so that some toothbrushes could get my toes & in between them too.  The entire house could hear my laughter as I was pretty much dissolved in it now that this was added.

"OHOHOHOHOHOHOHO GAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!"  I tried to say through my laughter, but it just wouldn't come out properly.

Alakazam was happy that he got to do something with his wife after all these years.  And it was something he got to share with us as well.  And I of course was overwhelmingly happy that I finally got to have the birthday that I wanted to have for years now.  Being tickled by my entire family!  ...Only...  My dad was missing.  But...  Honestly...  I didn't mind that too much.  I'm kinda OK with it at this point.  And I'm willing to bet that he's watching us right now, smiling.  Yes...  This is, without a doubt in my mind, the best birthday ever.
